Pre-conference program at the SBSM Annual Meeting
This Program will provide an up-to-date review of the current state of the science in hypertension, with a focus on how advances across disciplines can be translated into clinical practice and public policy. Designed for trainees, clinicians, and researchers, the session brings together leading experts in epidemiology, primary care, cardiology, psychosocial and behavioral science, sleep and physical activity, medication adherence, and both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment.
Across the afternoon, speakers will highlight how these domains intersect – illustrating key synergies that inform prevention, treatment, and policy – and will conclude with a synthesis of cross-cutting insights and future directions for the field.
Featured topics include:
- Foundations and recent advances in hypertension science
- Psychosocial and behavioral mechanisms influencing risk and treatment
- Sleep, physical activity, and medication adherence
- Innovations in blood pressure measurement
- Pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment strategies
- Translation to policy and practice
Registration for this Program is available HERE as an optional pre-conference session. Discounted rates are available for allied health professionals and trainees.
If you plan on attending the SBSM Annual Meeting as well, you can register for both the Annual Meeting and the 2026 Program on Hypertension HERE.
