Greater Good Spotlight
From viral and loneliness epidemics to societies fractured by disparity and discord, as well as economic, health, and environmental stressors, biopsychosocial processes are critical to understanding and identifying solutions for societal problems. The Biopsychosocial Science for the Greater Good Initiative aims to highlight and promote member science that elucidates biopsychosocial mechanisms and solutions for vexing societal challenges.

The SBSM Emerging Leaders DEI Committee developed the Early Career and Trainee Researcher Spotlights to promote the work of early career and trainee scholars within SBSM (e.g., students, post-doctoral scholars, early career researchers). The nominee’s career stage will be used to determine whether the spotlight is an Early Career or Trainee Researcher Spotlight. The organizing committee will take a diversity, equity, and inclusion lens in facilitating this spotlight.
