Matthew Zawadzki, PhD, Co-Chair

The Digital Health Special Interest Group (SIG) brings together researchers, clinicians, educators, and industry partners who are advancing the use of digital technologies to improve health and well-being. Formerly the Digital and Telehealth SIG, the group has been re-envisioned to reflect the rapidly evolving digital health landscape, encompassing areas such as mobile health, wearable devices, artificial intelligence, digital therapeutics, remote monitoring, immersive technologies, and other emerging innovations relevant to behavioural and social medicine. The SIG provides a collaborative forum to exchange ideas, foster interdisciplinary and academic-industry partnerships, enable funding acquisition, promote professional development, and support the translation of digital innovations into research, clinical practice, and public health. Through networking, potential workshops and symposia, and collaborative initiatives, the Digital Health SIG aims to advance the science and application of digital health across the Society for Biopsychosocial Science and Medicine.
